Frame purses were widely used in late Middle Ages throughout Europe and were therefore found reasonable numbers in archaeological finds.
The medieval purse frame dates back to the 14th - 15th centuries and is made of sand cast brass.
Dimensions of the frame: 9 x 4.5 cm.
The ring of the purse frame swivels and has a 1.7 x 1.3 cm opening.
