Despite their common depiction in media as barbarians, Vikings were pretty proud of their appearance. Bed hair was frowned upon and mattlocks unheard of, so combs were a must-have item for personal grooming.
Our combs are 11.5cm long, 3.5cm wide and constructed by layering bone plates, riveting them in place with bronze. Based on the constructed method and design found in Sweden Viking Age finds.
